Friends Place, along with two of our Quaker retreat center peer organizations, Beacon Hill Friends House, and Pendle Hill, will be hosting a retreat from June 7-10, 2024, entitled Continuing Revolution: Restorative Justice as Spiritual Practice. Continuing Revolution is an annual gathering of young adults (ages 18-35) seeking to explore connections between their spiritual, political, and interpersonal lives. Participants will have the option to join from one of three in-person “hubs” in DC, Philadelphia, and Boston, or online. The sessions will include spiritual reflection, skill training on restorative practices, and discussion on how to organize to repair root causes of violence in our communities.
