We are a 15 minute walk from Union Station, a hub for Amtrak, the MARC train from Thurgood Marshall-BWI Airport, bus transit, and parking for those arriving by car. If you are flying into Reagan National Airport, it is a 20-minute commute via Metro to the Eastern Market stop or to Union Station. From these two Metro stations, it’s just 10-minute walk from Friends Place.

Eastern Market and Union Station are both major Metro stops, which can easily connect you with the rest of the city as your group explores D.C. Our staff is happy to assist you with purchasing Metro cards in advance of your visit.
